Project goal

Children with Disabilities Leather Working Training aims to increase the capacity of 29th school of deaf children to empower vulnerable, Mongolian disabled youth with improved vocational resilience through the upgrading of existing school vocational training class with modernized vocational training programs such as leather working and hand tools and equipment.

Main activities

Introduced short term Leather Working Training at 29th school of deaf children. Provided modernized leather working hand tools, equipment and help to develop their curriculum & teaching methods for vocational training class of 29th school of deaf children. To link Employment Location Service


Outcomes

  • Increased awareness of local authorities, particularly in education, for the needs of the disabled youth benefited by this action

  • Increased employment opportunity in the disabled youth after their graduation
