Project goal

The main purpose of the Eco-FARM is demonstrating sustainable farming and crop production and conducting sustainable farming and crop production trainings and workshops to non-government organizations, government agricultural workers, countryside herders, farmers and households.

Outcomes

Eco-FARM conducted following training and workshops:

• Developing sustainable horticultural production

• How to grow tree, Sea buck thorn and black currant

• How to build different root cellars

• How to build well insulated extended growing greenhouse (three seasons) in Mongolian condition

• Natural disaster resilience and hay planting management

• How to create Green space and Shelter belt

A total of 120 government agricultural workers, herders, farmers, households and individuals involved in the above trainings and workshops
